Author Helena St. George
After retiring from high tech and higher education, Helena St. George moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Northern California with her husband and their Labradoodle, Misty. Together, they enjoy hiking, biking, and kayaking.
A former adjunct English professor at San Jose State University and Notre Dame de Namur University, Helena taught literature, writing, communication, and First-Year Experience courses. Her teaching inspired a lifelong appreciation for the written word, and that passion continues to shape her fiction.
Helena writes stories that explore social justice, hope, resilience, courage, and the enduring struggle between good and evil.
A book-club enthusiast at heart, Helena writes with discussion in mind. Readers can download sample chapters and book-club discussion guides throughout the site.
Her current project, The Unmaking Trilogy, explores the unraveling of a society, the struggle to survive, and what it takes to rebuild.
